The School of Engineering at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile (UC) is widely recognized for its advanced research programs spanning all engineering disciplines. Research and development activities conducted throughout ten departments, along with the participation in interdisciplinary institutes and national centers of excellence, have pushed forward the productivity and quality of our research, consolidating its worldwide recognition.
Alongside the faculty’s research interests, fostering a research culture is one of the core elements of our students’ curriculum. This is actively promoted from an early stage through initiatives like the Undergraduate Research Program (IPre) and The Bridge, which affords international research internships to undergraduate and master’s students.
