Two projects by professors from UC School of Engineering receive funding in ANID’s 2025 IDeA Technological Research Competition

The results of the 2025 IDeA Technological Research Competition run by the National Research and Development Agency (ANID) have just been released. The initiative co-funds applied-research projects that show strong potential for near-term productive application or societal implementation.

Project: "Development and validation of a computational platform for predicting the mechanical response of patients with acute respiratory distress on invasive mechanical ventilation"

Project: "National validation of recycled concrete aggregate use in structural and road applications"
